'Switzerland of India' for its natural surroudings and Old World architecture. The picturesque hill station is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams namely Nallathanni, Mudrapuzha and Kundala. The 1600 metres high hill resort is surrounded by wild forests and remains wet and cold for almost all seasons in the year. Munnar also has the highest peak in South India, Anamudi, with a height of 2695 metre.
